Yinghao Lu
I am currently a senior at University of Canberra working towards a B.A. in Global Studies, as well as another degree at Hubei University. I have an overall GPA of 5.5 (seven-point scale) at University of Canberra and a weighted average score of 88.25 at Hubei University, which places me in the top 10% of my class. I have also won several scholarships and prizes in the competition.

In 2017 I joined the Volunteer Association of Hubei University and became the minister of its public relations department. There I took charge of the distribution of personnel and materials to ensure the smooth running of all events, as well as the planning of activities within the association such as the sports game.
I also participated in volunteer activities to help strengthen the verbal expression ability of the left-behind children and enrich the life of the disabled aged by talking and playing simple games with them.

In 2018 I did a project about celebrating student diversity success stories at University of Canberra. Me and my teammates interviewed students from diverse backgrounds such as economically disadvantaged to reflect on how they have succeeded in campus life and showcase the diversity and inclusion of the university by writing feature articles and posting them on UnCover.
​
Outside of study and work I enjoy using electronic devices and comparing products of different bands by summarising the pros and cons of each device. I am also into using different kinds of apps (e.g. social, efficiency, entertainment) and writing user experience reports to give feedback to the developers.
